relational participatory design

The components are designed for the possibility of adaptation, the configuration system draws explicit lineage from constructivist toys - relational participatory design that fosters active co-authorship. The idea that space is an experience that we create from how we feel led us to design furniture for play, investigation and the reinvention of possibilities. Each furniture iteration is presented as a self-assembly kit that turns furniture assembly into a tactile game. The vertical components can be combined with various length horizontal components to create alternative sizes. The plywood is treated with beeswax and the kits are ready to be assembled.
