OUR CONCEPT.

MODULAR COMPONENT FURNITURE

We set out to make a statement against disposability – and against permanence – and we ended up making furniture.

WE build modular furniture made from plywood and steel components that we have developed. Every piece disassembles to its whole component parts. Each of the components can be used as part of something else – all our furniture can be added to creating various sizes and alternative configurations.

THE PLY COMPONENTS ARE MANUFACTURED WITH CLEARANCE HOLES AND BRACKETED PIN CLAMPS FOR SELF-ASSEMBLY WITH STEEL RODS, NUTS AND BOLTS. THE PLYWOOD IS FINISHED WITH SAVARIND LYRICAL WAX, FORMULATED WITH 100% ORGANIC INGREDIENTS.

We have curated a library of our components – The SAVARIND Concept Components Manifest ©2026. The relevant components used to create each piece of furniture are listed within the description and additional details sections of each product offered in the Emporium.

Our work is shaped by stories and honed through lived experience and has developed into something holistic, giving each piece a distinctive voice whilst also being filtered through a disciplined process.

The Savarind Concept introduces a singular architectural narrative. conceptualising and prototyping. reimagining materials and methods. playing with scale and contrast. form follows function.
