OUR CONCEPT.

MODULAR COMPONENT FURNITURE

We set out to make a statement against disposability – and against permanence – and we ended up making furniture.

WE offer furniture made from plywood and steel components that we have developed, in various sizes and configurations. Every piece disassembles cleanly to its whole component parts. Each of the components can be used as part of something else.

We have curated a library of our components. The SAVARIND Concept Components Manifest ©2025. The relevant components used to create each piece of furniture are listed, along with alternative configurations, within the description and additional details sections of each product offered in the Emporium.

Modular furniture in the sense that a chair can be added to becoming a pew, a bench can become a desk, pigeon hole and table components can be used to make our platform beds.

Designs shaped by stories and honed through lived experience developed into something holistic, giving each piece a distinctive voice whilst also being filtered through a disciplined process.

plywood furniture. versatile pigeon hole shelving. trestle tables, refectory benches and chairs. Platform beds. interchangeable hanging rails and storage.

The Savarind Concept introduces a singular architectural narrative. conceptualising and prototyping. reimagining materials and methods. playing with scale and contrast. form follows function.
